2022 Annual LEI Application Promotion Seminar Was Successfully Held

     To further expand LEI application scenarios and strengthen communication between LEI-assigned institutions, on November 25, 2022, Beijing National Institute of Financial Standardization organised the 2022 Annual LEI Application Promotion Seminar. Relevant leaders from the Technology Department of the People’s Bank of China, the Technology Supervision Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Ministry of Statistics and Information Technology of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, the Technology Department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and other units attended the meeting. Nearly 200 financial infrastructure, financial institutions, financial technology companies and market institutions attended the seminar

       Experts from the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Futures Market Monitoring Center, China Securities Inter Agency Quoted Systems Co., Ltd., Beijing National Institute of Financial Standardization, CIPS Co., Ltd., China Financial Certification Authority, REGTEK (BEIJING) TECHNOLOGIES Co., Ltd., and other units shared LEI application achievements and experience.  Idea exchange and discussions were also conducted on the application and promotion of LEI in key areas

       This seminar is of great significance for promoting the application and development of LEI in China, further exploring the application of LEI in cross-border payment, cross-border identity recognition and other fields, and giving full play to the role of LEI in preventing financial risks and facilitating identity recognition.
